A clean wordmark or a simple icon is quick work. A detailed crest, a mascot or a full illustrated scene is days of drawing. The more elements you want packed in, and the more detail in each one, the further above the starting price it sits.
Fully hand-drawn artwork takes the longest — every line is drawn rather than built. Clean vector work is faster. Drawn by hand first and then rebuilt as vector, so it stays razor sharp at any size, is the most involved of the three.
Personal use with a couple of file formats sits at the lower end. Full commercial use, the source files, and a set of variations built for print, socials and merch sits higher.
A couple of rounds of changes are built into every job. Extra rounds beyond that, or a tight deadline that has to jump the queue, add to the price.
